नमस्कार ।
करोना टाइम डायरीज़ का ये आज मेरा पहला दिन है। पहले दिन की शुरूवात एक ज़बरदस्त हादसे के साथ करती हूँ। मैं चंडीगढ़ में रहती हूँ। पहले तो कूड़े वाला हर मंज़िल पर ख़ुद आकर कूड़ा ले जाया करता था ।लेकिन आज कल वो बिल्डिंग के अंदर नहीं आता है।
क्योंकि मेरा ग्राउंड फ़्लोर नहीं है ।तो आज कल कूड़ा देने नीचे जाना पड़ता है ।यक़ीन मानिएगा यह एक बहुत भयानक एहसास है। लक्ष्मण रेखा नहीं लांघनी है ।ये दिमाग़ पर इस तरह छप गया है कि अपने गेट से बाहर निकलने का बिलकुल मन करता ही नहीं है।
पर चलो अब कूड़ा तो देना है ।तो उसे देने के लिए मुझे नीचे जाना पड़ता है ।जो मैं हफ़्ते में एक या दो बार ही जाती हूँ।
पिछले कल अप्रैल महीने की तीन तारीख़ हो गई थी। यूँ तो जो कूड़ा लेने आती है ।वो हर महीने की पहली तारीख़ को ही पैसे लेती है। पर इस बार तीन तारीख़ होने वाली थी और उन्होंने पैसे अब तक माँगे नहीं थे।
तो पिछले कल ही ,याने कि अप्रैल महीने की दो तारीख़ को शाम को मैं सोच रही थी ,शायद हो सकता है कि इन्हें मना किया गया है ।पैसे नहीं लेने के लिए।पर जिन लोगों के पास है उन्हें डे ज़रूर देनी चाहिए ।तो मैंने सोचा 3 तारीख़ को वो माँगे चाहे ना माँगे मैं पैसे दे दूंगी।
तक़रीबन 11 बजे के क़रीब ये लोग कूड़ा लेने आते हैं। अब क्योंकि आजकल मुझे अपने गेट से निकलकर ,नीचे तक का सफ़र करना बिलकुल मंज़ूर नहीं इसलिए मुझे अपने दिमाग़ को पिछली रात से तैयार करना पड़ा।
बात पक्की हुई कि 11 बजे कूड़ा देने जाऊँगी और साथ ही कूड़े वाली के पैसे भी दे दूंगी।
आज कल हमारे घरों की घंटी भी कहाँ बचती है ना? पर तीन तारीख़ को तक़रीबन आठ बजे मेरे घर की घंटी बजगई। नीचे कूड़े वाली खड़ी थी और उसने कहा दीदी पैसे दे दो। मेरी तैयारी तो 11 बजे की थी तो वो थोड़ी देर हो गई।
जितनी देर में मैंने कूड़ा और पैसे निकालें और गेट से नीचे जाना शुरू किया उतनी देर में कूड़े वाली सीढ़ियों से ऊपर आने लग गई।
न वो जानती थी कि मैं सीढ़ियों से नीचे आ रही हूँ न मैं जानती थी कि वो सीढ़ियों से ऊपर आ रही है। अचानक हम दोनों एक दूसरे के सामने खड़ी थे।
एक बाज़ू का फ़ासला तो हम दोनों के बीच था ।लेकिन यक़ीन मानिए ये इतना असुविधाजनक एहसास था कि मैं शब्दों में बयान नहीं कर सकती। मुझे देखकर वो एक दम बोली की थैला नीचे रख दो दिदी। कूड़े का थैला तो मैंने नीचे रख दिया लेकिन पैसे उसको ही देना चाहती थी।जैसे ही उसने हाथ बढ़ाया हम दोनों की एक ऊँगली का सिरा ज़रा छुह गया।
ऐसा नहीं कि उस वक़्त आतंकित केवल मैं दिख रही थी ।वो भी उतना ही घबरा गई थी।
वो कूड़े का लिफ़ाफ़ा लेकर अपनी दिशा निकल गई और मैं अपने दोनों हाथों की बंद मुट्ठियाँ बनाकर सीधे उन्हें धोने भागी।
जब ये हादसा हुआ तब तो मैं थोड़ा घबरा गई थी ।लेकिन जब हाथ अच्छे से और एक दम धुल गए तो मुझे बेहद हँसी आयी। सोशल डिस्टेंससिंग और कोरोना महामारी के डर में ये जो वक़्त हम निकालेंगे इस वक़्त के निकल जाने के बाद हमें दोबारा से एक साधारण ज़िंदगी शुरू करने के लिए काफ़ी वक़्त चाहिए होगा।
इस बीमारी के बाद आपकी और मेरी हम सबकी ज़िंदगी बदल जाने वाली है। न जाने लोगों से दोबारा मिलना जुलना कैसे शुरू होगा? क्या जितने खुलकर एक दूसरे से पहले मिला करते थे ,अब दुबारा उसी तरह मिलने की हिम्मत कब जुटा पाएंगे?
वो बाहर खाना खाना ,चट पट्टे गोलगप्पों का मज़ा लेना, भेल पूरी ,वो भुनी हुई मूंगफलियों में कटा हुआ प्याज़ टमाटर थोड़े से धनिये और नींबू के साथ मुझे तो ये सारी चीज़ें खाना भी बहुत बहुत पसंद था।
दुनिया एक बहुत बड़ा बदलाव देखने वाली है एक ऐसा बदलाव जिसमें अपने घर के कोने कोने की सफ़ाई तो हम करेंगे लेकिन हमारे मन में मैल की सफ़ाई का ज़िम्मा ख़ुद ऊपर वाले ने उठा लिया है। अब वो जब तक हर कोने से मेल निकाल नहीं लेंगे तब तक चैन से बैठने वाले नहीं।
कल दोबारा मिलते हैं।

May be not in a normal situation but in the times of social distancing it is a scare.
Over-reaction is the best action to keep yourself safe during corona times.
