Feel good ,for the weekend has a mesmerizing trip planned for you.Today, I want to make a wish, a wish that  Himachal Pradesh, the possesser of alluring unlaboured  and natural beauty becomes richer by wisely presenting it.Himachal is a popular tourist destination for the majority of Indians.We magnitize  a sizable  number of foreign tourist as well.But the moot question which stands untouched is what are we digging out ,the diamonds or are we busy selling the coal ?The tourism sites are not only racked  at the hands of tourist but their tenderness is exposed  at the policy implementation stage itself.

Himachal is adored for its natural beauty.we have oodles of tourist destinations but there is a miss between the cup and the sip.Traveling makes you wise .Travel and tourism industry is the biggest industry in the world.

With the new government taking over, we see a lot of new policies and new implementation plans being laid down.The talks on the development of current tourism sites and for the flagging off of new ones are making rounds.It is wise to introduce a suggestion when the time is ripe.Therefore, today I want to take you on a trip to understand how to create the mystery in tourism?

Let’s go to Arizona today.It is in America.This trip is no comparison.It is just a learning.Therefore, I request you to understand the essence of it.

Arizona is on the western and the warmer side of America.While I was there, I had a chance to visit a place called Horse Shoe Bend.I wanted to see it as I had heard a lot about it.As we approached the spot, our cars had to be parked.Here it is a must to mention that the temperature during the summer season touches 45-50 degree Celsius.After parking the cars we walked for about two hours on the burning sand to see for our selves -the horseshoe bend.As I was struggling my way through the raw desert towards the horseshoe bend, the only thought in my mind was that it must be a place worth seeing.I mean why not, why would all these people burn their skin in the scorching heat to see it? I convinced my self with it.

There was a deep drop far off.Nothing else was showing yet.I stood on the huge yellow stones looking at a mountain in a shape of  a horseshoe which was surrounded by the deep green waters.I sat there for some time, trying to convince myself that yes!It was worth but the fact is that I am a Himachali.Hence ,this mountain girl had already  seen the most amazing hills, a platter of  the shades of green and deep free flowing waters in different shades,so the horse shoe bend  did not leave me big eyed.

Though the place was not as according to my expectations but a thing was clear.It was that they have maintained the beauty and the dignity of the place.They have not just created a  tourist destination but have succeeded in maintaining the enigma about the place.There I understood that every country and every state has something unique.It is not about spiking the number of tourist destinations, it is about how we present and maintain them.
