Story of Amal from city of joy who drinks to his cup of life every day. He is a red-blooded young boy with a tireless smiling face. Presently he is a domestic chef in Delhi. He spells magic in the kitchen and also molds seashells into masterpieces. His life is an inspiration.
”I lost my parents when I was only three and a half years old. I don’t know how my life would have been with them.I don’t think about it.
Every day I wake up to an infrequent experience. Life has been like a sport to me.Its lessons were candid, without a lot of formality in them. Its demoniac winds did not bruise my back, instead they have bonked me right in my face. Permitting me to take the bull by its horns.
Amal was born in the city of joy-Kolkata in the year 1993.He was born in Biswas family. They lived in Bakkhali near Ganga Nagar in Kolkata. After the death of his parents , his sister took care of him till he was five. She got married after that.
Amal is an adroit. He faced commodious blocks but out of those constraints came out his creativity. In this nature gave him a platform. Selling wood form the Sundarbans gave him food to eat. While the beaches in Kolkata equipped him with seashells. They gave wings to Amal. He is a natural in designing showpieces with seashells.Amal collected them and allowed his creativity to explore the world of designing.
He realized that victory has a thousand fathers but defeat is an orphan when he started a bustling shop. His seashell designs clicked to the heart of people. He had money now and yes! It smelled. All the faded and unknown relatives came in clear view. They started shelling money in the name of their kids from Amal. ”I could not say a no. How do you go back to become a stranger to the people who have seen my soul? Disappointed he decided to move away.
He sat on the railway station, unaware of his destination. All he knew was that people do travel to places for work. Sure of making a living, he was ready for his voyage.
Sitting alone, speculating where to go.He felt someone tugging at his jacket. The voice asked Amal,”Lost or annoyed?” That day destiny gave him a friend to hold on to. He offered him to come to Delhi and stay with him. The offer was immediately grabbed.
Today Amal says, ”It is amazing that how soon can a stranger become a friend. I have seen my relatives turning their backs on me when I was a child. I had a decent house and land in my father’s name. Nothing came to me. A rainy day meant an empty stomach.”
”Initially, I did get disappointed in Delhi. But God has his angles.A female of my mother’s age said, ’ son I will give you food. Don’t get disheartened. Stay in Delhi, you will do good I know’.Since that day I did struggle but I did not quit. I have lived on the mercy of strangers and it has been the best decision of my life.
These days I cook in a few houses. In my free time, I make the seashell showpieces. They appreciate
my cooking as well as craft. I plan to sell my craft here in Delhi as well.I’ll be a famous seashell designer I know”, Says Amal.
