Hurrrayyyy! I ran out of the bed and went straight into the washroom.
In an hour , we were at the zoo. It had most of the carnivorous, omnivorous and the herbivores in it.
I was excited and amused to see the tigers, bears, camels, rabbits and the monkeys. While I was standing near the rabbit’s enclosure someone said a…. hello!
The rabbit was looking straight into my face. My neck took a round to check who was it?
To my surprise, yes! it was the rabbit. I looked at my mum to see if she noticed the talking rabbit but she was too busy taking pictures.
The next moment the rabbit slipped a paper chit in my hand.
It read , my most prized possession, my rabbit teeth are turning pale.what should I do?
I was in a shock for a few minutes. Well! I said, eat a lot of carrots. Its roughage will clean your pale teeth.

The bear, the lion all of them seemed friendly.
The lion who was basking in the sun waved at me as I stood near its enclosure.
He asked , what do you think I am doing , little one?
I said, enjoying the Sunday.
He said, yes I am. Sundays are special. We the animals at the zoo get as amused looking at people as you get looking at us. We find people visiting us as weird and entertaining as you find us.
Then came the monkey. He jumped in our conversation as the monkeys do. He said, people make faces at me, they jump and hop looking at me. But the best is when they start scratching themselves as I do. This makes me roll on my tummy and laugh .
Then the lion said, so my dear don’t pity us but keep visiting and entertaining us.
While on our way back. Mommy asked me , what was the most entertaining thing for you? To which I asked, for the animals or for me?]]>
