A sewerage treatment plant worth Rs 30 Crores at Ponta Sahib in Sirmaur district has been cleared .This will go a long way in keeping the town neat and clean.An additional Rs. 27 crore has been sanctioned by the National Highway Authority of India to the state for undertaking repair and maintenance of national highways.
With the new allotments reaching the state ,a progress check was conducted for the previous year’s policies.A meeting to review the implementation of budget assurances of state budget for year 2108-19 was held on third of November.This was conducted under the chairmanship of Chief Secretary B.K Agarwal.
The Chief Secretary said,” As many as 131 assurances of different departments have been given in the budget out of which 80 have been implemented and the work was on progress on remaining.”
He directed the officers concerned to finalise the modalities at the earliest for the schemes announced in the budget so that work on all schemes could be started without delays. He also said’” The state government has taken a decision to publish ‘Jan Adhikaar’ booklet to make people awards about the guidelines for taking benefit of government schemes.”
