Chapter-1
“Why did it always seem to me that someone was following me?.
I Felt scared, were my days numbered?
I woke up with a jerk, it was only 11. 59pm. My eyes were wide awake. I was staring at the ceiling. Lying on my bed, flat on my back. After trying hard to sleep again, I failed.
Hence, I thought that I should walk in the hallway of my house. Walking was my proven stress buster. As I was just about to get out of my bed, my hand hit something hard. It was a vase. It hit the ground and was into pieces before I could know.
Next, I heard sounds from my parents’ room. The sound of a crashed vase had woken them up. They ask, Lisa dear, is everything alright?
I yelled, yes mom, I broke the vase, everything else is fine.
I kept staring at the broken pieces of the glass vase. I was getting restless. I did not know why and what should I do. I started counting backward. My eyes got heavier and heavier and I dozed off to sleep.

Chapter- 2
I woke up only in the morning, yawned, and stepped out of the bed.
OUCH! My foot got pierced by the shard, I had almost forgotten about. The memories of last night came back to me. I forgot about the vase, OH NO!
My foot was bleeding and paining. Quickly, I pulled the shard out of my foot. I felt numbness taking over the pain. I limped to the drawing-room.
My aunt Neputa was sitting there reading the newspaper.
Looking at me, she cried Oh my dear Lisa, what happened to your foot? Let me bandage it for you.
First, she applied a few medicines and then covered the wound with the bandage. I began to feel better immediately.
I was relaxed and was grateful to my aunt Neputa.
She was a doctor, a good doctor and she knew her job well.
Great! She said looking at my foot. Your wound will heal soon. I had just the right medicines. Off you go now. Enjoy your day.
I hopped off.
