In a candid interview, Abhishek Mittoo shared what it means to be a hawk on two wheels. 1-How did a bike turn into a hawk for you? It was my passion to ride a bike. More so to enjoy every whiff of breeze that it brought along with it. I started riding a bike very early in my life. Every ride brought the urge to explore more. This urge took me on many explored as well as many unexplored roads. I always wanted to share my experiences. 2-Was it a smooth ride for your passion with professional wings?
- Yes! It was. I shared my idea with Chureshwar Sewa Samiti. They helped me with it. It was with their and my friend’s help that we got a team of professionals and my first 12 riders for the trip.
- The first thing which I will quote is the passion to ride. It is a common factor for every rider . Along with it, the trip is full of challenges. Every curve in the mountain s unfolds a new layer of Himalayas. For me, it was more important to form a ream of clam and composed professionals who perform under any stress than just professionals. Thankfully the team is comprised of the best. I bring back memories from every trip. This journey to Leh is though.I ride on the same road but it is never alike. It can never get monotonous or predictable . The bikers add to the light moments of the list.
- Not at all. Though we have kept the starting age at 25 years but most of my participant’s age vary between 35-65 years.
- We will be starting trips with our foreign clients next year. The number of tours will also be increased to three per year. Our immediate trip is lined up for August 11th this year.T his one is till Kaza. We have aligned it with the local festival in Kaza.Himachal is a place to feel. We try to show much as we can to our participants.we are available on mittooabhishek@gmail.com and 9816022311 for registrations.
